Should you include career objective?

Do not include a career objective, it is outdated and not useful.

Career objective is from the time when people used to join a company and stay there for the rest of their lives. It is not useful in today’s world where people change jobs frequently. Instead of a career objective, include a summary of your skills and experience. This will give the employer a better idea of what you can do and what you have done in the past.

Most candidates include a career objective that is vague, generic, and completely useless.

Even if you are a fresher, just out of college, including career objective is not recommended. Instead, write a short summary of who you aspire to be as a professional.
